The first CONFORME STUDIO collection recontextualises references to the Genesis* narrative in the manner of testaments to a world that once was but is no longer.

We envision a parallel between the Garden of Eden and our own world. Like Adam and Eve, we roam a realm named PARADISE where our actions precipitate our downfall.

We merge and reinterpret sacred codes, obscure aesthetics, and covert elements to create dark and oversized silhouettes.
Stripped bare of anything superfluous, our clothes conceal most of their features. We stage a contrast between the inside and the outside of our garments, a world initially called PARADISE sucked into another – untrodden, uncertain, dissimilar.

The colours and words displayed on the outer part of the clothes herald a rather bleak future, whereas the inside bears messages and signs from a now wished-for past. Only the green seams, visible on the clothing’s inside and outside, hint at a final escape. Fuelled by a darker perspective, scenes of Adam and Eve are altered to unveil the human race on the road to ruin.

We have drawn from the inspirational power of religion and darkness to build proposals in turn trendy, activist, dramatic, and ominous.
Beyond our world, between fiction and reality, we propel mankind towards its final state.

La premiere collection CONFORME STUDIO recontextualise les references associees a la Genese* exposant un monde qui fut et qui n’est plus.

Nous imaginons un parallele entre le jardin d’Eden et notre monde. Comme Adam et Eve, nous evoluons dans un monde nomme « PARADIS » et en raison de nos actions, nous nous dirigeons vers notre chute.

Codes sacres, esthetisme obscur et details dissimules y sont associes et reinterpretes creant des silhouettes dark et oversize.

Les vetements ont ete epures de toutes superficialites et cachent la plupart de leurs details. Nous proposons un contraste entre l’interieur et l’exterieur du vetement, un monde a son debut appele « PARADIS », aspire dans un nouveau monde incertain et contraste.

Sur l’exterieur du vetement, les couleurs et les mots exposent un avenir funeste. L’interieur, quant a lui, devoile des messages, des signes representant un passe devenu espere. Les coutures vertes visibles a l’interieur et a l’exterieur du vetement sont les seules traces d’une derniere issue. Alimentes par une vision plus sombre, des scenes d’Adam et Eve y sont modifiees exposant l’Homme courant a sa perte.

La religion et l’obscurite sont des inspirations retravaillees pour devenir des propositions mode, engagees, dramatiques ou menacantes.

Au-dela de notre monde, entre fiction et realite, nous projetons l’Homme vers sa finalite.

Genese* est une introduction vers notre univers, proposition n°1.

This allows us to reduce our ecological impact by producing only the quantities ordered, in this way avoiding any waste of raw material.

We still produce an extra 5% allowing you to change size if needed.

To thank you for your trust, you will benefit from a price advantage only during the pre-order period.

Once the pre-orders are over, the edition is offered in limited stock at the normal price.

We at CONFORME STUDIO are sustainability-driven: in synch with our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, our garments are designed in Paris and manufactured in Portugal.

We thus aim to create gender-neutral, high quality clothing for all seasons and in limited series.

To this end, we seek evermore transparency and integrity across our supply chains.
